Majority of the world Energy needs are met by using traditional fossil fuels. It has been concluded by experts that fossil fuel reserves will not last more than three decades. However, the sun is unquestionably an energy source of huge potential which can be exploited without harming the environment. In fact the hemisphere of the earth exposed to the sun receives over 50,000 TW of power, nearly 10,000 times the quantity of Energy consumed all over the world. Pakistan is ranked among the huge potential areas in the world having highest rate of solar energy conversion and can benefit maximum from this mega source of Energy.

Worldwide technological developments have enabled our team of dedicated Engineers
in READ Solar (Pvt) Ltd. to acquire the unique expertise in how best to harness, control
and convert Solar Energy into reliable electricity eciently, ready for use in various
sectors such as Industrial, Agricultural, Corporate, Commercial and Residential etc, as
well as transfer it to the local grid. Read solar has taken step-forward for the development
of solar projects of various On Grid and OFF Grid with emphasis on a substational increase
of renewable energy in Pakistan's Grid. Making our strenuous eorts with other
stakeholders, we managed the approval and introduction of netmetering in Pakistan and
provide subsidies and interest free loans to the prospects of all categories, giving
opportunities to the general public to participate and invest in Energy Sector to overcome
the prevailing severe power crises in the shortest possible time under the motto of
"Self-Reliance".
